Gender-Reveal With A Twist. You'll Never Believe What This Chicken Is

 

This woman wins the award for Best Pet Owner. Why? Because she throws an epic party for her pet chicken. This chicken was rescued by a kind woman named Darcy Smith, who gifts her new pet with a gender-reveal party that has hit the internet by storm.

Smith saved the approximately four month-old chick, whom she named Funky Chicken, from a home in Rancho Cordova, California. She explains that it’s difficult to tell a chicken’s gender at such a young age, "You don’t know until later.” She continues, “They’re either going to ‘cock-a-doodle-doo’ or lay an egg.”

Funky Chicken has gained worldwide attention, as people wait in anticipation for its gender to be revealed. “We took a poll, in which most people thought Funky was a girl and then we led up to it,” Smith explained.
