Mom Loses Puppies in Tragedy That No One Saw Coming But This Story Has a Very Unexpected Twist

Daisy Woodruff, a golden retriever, from Roseburg, Oregon, was thrilled to give birth to seven pups!

Daisy's mom, Jessica Woodruff, had set up a bed inside the house but Daisy insisted on finding a spot in their barn. Unfortunately, on February 20th, the barn caught fire and all seven puppies were lost. The family also lost four goats, a pig and the barn was a complete loss.

They were devastated, especially Daisy. She wandered around lost, confused and sad.

Jessica wanted to find foster puppies for Daisy to take care of. Their story finally made it to a local radio show and news station. They were contacted by an owner with eight orphaned puppies.

Daisy took right to mothering the orphaned pups and was happy to care for them, feed them and clean them. She was happy again!

Daisy will care for the puppies until they are weaned and then they will go back to their home.

They are so adorable! So glad Daisy could help and that she's happy again!!
